Building Activation Team is hosting an artist talk to share their thoughts, experiences and materials produced throughout 19th - 21st of February 2021.

Initial starting point after the cancellation of Rundgang 2021, group of students: Gintarè Sokelytè, Larry Bonćhaka, Ella CB, Maximilianno Siñani, Sopo Kashakashvili, Hormazd Vakharia - gathered together to organize an alternative happening called - Building Activation. 

Building Activation emerged as a mutant antidote to solve and critique prevailing conversations within communities, connectivity, solidary, protest, and an action in order to reflect on enclosed/cancelled/postponed events caused by global health pandemic. Due to this urgency, a team of artists from Städelschule and Städelschule (SAC) architects started to create hubs that foster innovation. 

The event grew from building activation, to taking the works outside the architectural premises and finally using the Zoom (Video Communication, Inc.) not just as a mere form of communication and information transmission, but rather as a medium for performance, sound and reflection on its absurdity.
