Amidst the constant reports of conflict and harm inflicted upon each other on this planet, Ishii seeks to confront the cruelty and fragility of the human condition.

In collaboration with Animal Communicators, Maki has created the zine “3.3333333333...”.This project hears the voices of often disregarded creatures and presents them as main protagonists.
