Twentysix is pleased to announce the first screening event of the series on the 9th of June starting at 7.30 pm. This event will take place at echocorrespondence, in the form of an open air screening in the courtyard.

The Screening will investigate the term (A)rchitecture through debating the topic by Video- and Filmworks of the artists Noah Barker and Dora Budor, Tony Cokes, Jan Domicz, Isabelle Edi, Isa Genzken, Frieder Haller, Judith Hopf and Henrik Olesen, Laura Nitsch and John Skoog. The screening will be accompanied by a small publication, which will be available at the event. 

The screening, brought together under the term (A)rchitecture, centers on questions of inclusion and exclusion of the subject in architectural and urban space. Social interactions are characterized by the way in which architectural space arranges, streets, squares, rooms, walls, objects and memories. In this context, the videos presented raise the question of how architecture and infrastructure are represented as a narrative network or backdrop with the moving images.
