Husslehof is pleased to announce its reopening with a solo exhibition by François Pisapia (*1990, Montréal, CA) artist and filmmaker living and working in Berlin. His artistic practice moves through installation, photography, performance and video, addressing ideas of the home, nature, love and property.
For his solo presentation at Husslehof Pisapia will present a new video work and installation. These will be followed by an artist's book published by Monroe Books later this year.
His work has been screened and exhibited at the Centre for Contemporary Art (Glasgow), Staedel Museum (Frankfurt), Mal Seh’n Kino (Frankfurt), Museo Macro Asilo (Rome), Czech Centre (New York) and Centre Clark (Montréal).
With a slideshow-reading by the artist at sundown.
We acknowledge the support of the Canada Council for the Arts and Stiftung Kunstfonds, Neustart Kultur.
