From October 10 to 11, 2025, the interdisciplinary performance festival quovadis will take place over 24 hours at St. Katharinenkirche in Frankfurt am Main. Situated at the city’s central Hauptwache, the church has a long history as a place of encounter and contemplation. Today, it is not only a sacred space but also a forum for cultural and social discourse.

The festival title quovadis (Latin for “Where are you going?”) reflects this openness and invites both artists and visitors to engage with personal and societal questions of change under the guiding theme of “Where to.” The spiritually and historically charged atmosphere of St. Katharinenkirche offers a unique setting for performances, interventions, and interdisciplinary formats that open new perspectives on the diversity of time-based art and the often complex emotional, social, and cultural challenges of our times.
