Xavier Hufkens is pleased to announce a new exhibition by Danh Vō (b. 1975, Bà Rja, Vietnam). Vō’s conceptual artworks and installations draw upon elements of autobiography and collective experience to explore themes relating to migration and authorial status. His work incorporates documents, photographs and found objects which have accrued meaning over time, through transfer of ownership or shifting social or cultural contexts.
Recent solo exhibitions include Secession, Vienna (2021); National Museum of Art Osaka (2020); Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, New York (2018) and CAPC, Bordeaux (2018).
The gallery will be open until 8pm, 28 October.
