Multidisciplinary artist, he works on films, sculptures and installations. Born to a Danish mother and a Turkish immigrant father, he studied at the Funen Art Academy in Odense and later at the Städelschule in Frankfurt under Douglas Gordon. His art often explores themes like cultural identity, migration and marginalization, drawing from personal experiences and societal observations. His notable works include Witness (2018), a four-channel video installation highlighting the lives of kebab workers in Germany, and The Shipwrecked Triptych (2025), an anthology film examining societal fractures through diverse narratives and film formats. His movies were screened in festivals like Rotterdam and CPH:DOX; his other works are exposed in many different European countries.
