FLYING LIKE A BUTTERFLY

a dream machine

a participatory event about dreams and dream interpretation

Friday; 28. June from 19 - 22h
Saturday; 29. June from 15 - 20h
Sunday; 30. June from 15 - 19h

FLYING LIKE A BUTTERFLY: a dream machine is a collaborative exchange between WIRWIR (Berlin) and Pitzilein Books (Mexico City) that explores everyone's dreams by using a dream machine.

The dream machine sends Berlin's participants’ dreams to Mexico City where they will be translated into graphics in real-time by Manuel Bueno Botello, Santiago Marín, Idalia Sautto and Ricardo Iluhi Magaña.

The immediacy of the dream’s interpretation will bring each person closer to those images and ideas that are difficult to explain. The dreams, with their accompanying graphics, will be printed on our respective Risograph machines, in Berlin and Mexico City, to form a publication that is a collective catalog of dreams created by all who have participated.

Each dreamer will receive a Risograph printed dream interpretation of their dream during the event.

Mexican snacks and drinks will be served!

This event is part of 48Hours Neukölln and B-LA-M.

The final publication will be launched at the end of August 2024 at WIRWIR.
