Survival Practix.20 is pleased to invite you to a group exhibition of Städelschule Frankfurt and Tbilisi State Academy of Arts Students at the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts Museum.
The exhibition represents a student-initiated institutional exchange, which seeks to unite and establish a dia(poly)logue between the works produced within the two academic domains. The show takes over the entirety of the Academy of Arts Museum, a former 19th century palace commissioned by a Tbilisi-native Armenian merchant and built by Qajar craftsmen.
“In Praise of Folly: 22 Tricks for Desire, Audacity and Disappearance” takes the viewer on an intercalated journey containing fables of syntactic obscuration, deliberate tomfoolery, makeshift weapon manufacturing, impish seduction and unyielding dedication towards subjectivation in algorithmic hegemony.
