The world consists of pictures and pictures have no end. We think in pictures and all imaginable knowledge is told in pictures. Jagoda Bednarsky's painting feeds on this vast 'archive' of past and possible, impossible, invented and actual images. She questions history and brings it into the present, but aims ahead ... She connects to these contexts by re-linking all of those images she appropriates and makes her own.
