A Performance by Frankfurter Hauptschule

Bertolt Brecht’s play Die Maßnahme premiered in 1930, with Heiner Müller’s response, Mauser, following 46 years later. After a similar interval, the Frankfurter Hauptschule collective has now responded to these two didactic dramas: Maßnahme – Mauser – Motor. Techniques developed by Brecht and Müller are used to explore the question of where we stand today: modernity, postmodernity, acceleration, knowledge society, fake news, contemporary art, Dschungelcamp, climate emergency, the end?
