Entry at 8 pm, admission free.
After a phase of transition, in which bodies distanced themselves increasingly from each other, the need to get closer and to arrive - in human interactions, in one's own body, in the present - is greater than ever. If, however, a return to known habits does not seem possible, how do we re-locate ourselves in this strangely familiar system?
In their performances, the four participating artists deal with this matter in different ways: While Emmilou Roessling's solo traverses different modalities and qualities of being and abstraction within dance, the group performance choreographed by Carla Vollmers deals with the role of individual systems and routines in the context of our society. An analytical approach appears in Tamara Goehringer's linguistic examination of the writings of the french philosopher Étienne Souriau, in which she embarks on a search for the essence of existence. Samantha Bohatsch, on the other hand, blurs temporal boundaries and, in a reading performance, asks how the present and past social environments shape a human being.
Invited by Vivien Kämpf.
