Opening: Wednesday 16th of October, 7 pm
Sekundenbruchteile brings together for the first time four different perspectives in a group exhibition questioning our relation to the notion of reality. The artists, all living in different geographical and political contexts, create works that are testimonies to a diversity of experiences. From São Paulo to Shanghai, via Baghdad, Amsterdam, and Berlin, fleeting and pluralistic notions of reality are being explored. Within split seconds their works oscillate time and again between the realms of identity, illusion, and absurdity.
The exhibition is accompanied by a four-day program of events.
Curated by Alice Chardenet.
