We are pleased to announce the exhibition The closer you look, the better we look by artists Bernhard Schreiner and Leroy Stevens. Their eponymous installation is a collaborative attempt to manifest a single photograph through sectioning and selection into different media - both obvious, quasi-factual details within the image and contextual extensions and possible (but imagined) narratives. Through field recording/composition, sculpture, painting, and found footage/artifacts, objects, sounds, and scents are isolated and united in the exhibition space against the background and starting point of a photographic image taken by Leroy Stevens in Sarasota, Florida, in 2019.

As part of the exhibition, Bernhard Schreiner and Dani Gal invite you to FUNGUS AND GUITAR (live concert performance) on April 26 at 8 pm.
