AUFSTAND
In a time marked by uncertainty and rapid technological advancement, we find ourselves at the edge of the unknown. Witnessing an ongoing evolution whose full implications for humanity remain unclear, we are increasingly influenced by the integration of technology into our daily lives, as well as by media and communication structures.
Guided by Lefebvre, Baudrillard or Debord's manifesto "The Society of the Spectacle," there is a movement seeking to reclaim urban spaces, promote communal activism, and establish a digital infrastructure of knowledge.
AUFSTAND starts at this point and reflects the global conditions of a generation that has been using the language of imagery and extreme situations since the emergence of the internet and smartphones to blur the boundaries between reality and virtuality. This movement, often seen as the "lost generation," encompasses Gen Z and millennials and draws on the ideals of the Situationist International.
