From 29th May 2021 to 8th January 2022, the Antonio DalleNogare Foundation presents Michael Krebber’s first solo exhibition in Italy, entitled Studiofloor and Diamond Paintings. Michael Krebber (b. Cologne, 1954) is an internationally acclaimed artist and a figure central to the German art scene between the 1980s and ‘90s. Over the years he has become a reference point for a generation of younger artists, thanks to his constant and attentive focus on questioning the conventions and limits of the medium of painting, which he sees as a space for dialogue and a cross-genre hotbed, rather than something focused on the production of an object. The exhibition is staged in collaboration with the Greene Naftali Gallery, New York, and with the support of Provincia Autonoma di Bolzano.
