Thinking about how spaces are made sacred – and who is cast out in the process – Whispered Softly on Purpose draws on Christian material traditions, folded into gestures of witchcraft and echoes of Slavic folklore, to summon an alternative divinity. Gašper Kunšič reimagines decorative symbols as erotic thresholds, while Weronika Wysocka presents a study of smoke, leaving remnants of a ritual, memory or spell temporarily tangible. Rooted in a shared sense of the divine as felt, not fixed, the exhibition and its spellcasters conjure a queer sanctum of their own making.
