Under the title Roll your eyes three artists from Denmark, Canada and Japan shows works of art at exhibition space M100 in Odense. The artists will present a show of widely differing expressions that will change the way we usually see things. With works in plastic, paper, flowers and sound.

Billie Maya Johansen, Kitsum Cheng, and Yuki Kishino met during their studies at Städelschule in Frankfurt. The exhibition Roll your eyes in M100 is the first occasion to present their works together in Odense, Denmark. 

Eye rolling usually implies a passive aggressive reflex. Here, however, the artists are inverting the idea and using it, as a playful instruction and stimulate imaginative responses. Responding to elements in their environment and with their work, they are proposing positive action.

Billie Maya Johansen is a Danish artist working in a variety of media. Her work probes the integrity of our subjecthood and she has been developing her ongoing project 'Fatigue’, which is an interactive installation. 

Kitsum Cheng is a Canadian artist. Her works are inquiries on the production and circulation of material as well as immaterial artifacts. She is working on three-dimensional artist books to offer tactile reading experience. 

Yuki Kishino is a Japanese artist, grounded in time-based media. His works are observations on technological developments and shifts in psychological states. Yuki is building on an earlier work titled ‘Music for Flowers.’
