Unconference: Embodied Cybernetics in Everyday Life (Mimetics, Empathy, and Hacking)
https://netzkunst.berlin/cc/u
21/05/2021 - 23/05/2021
Online
Taking up the cybernetic logic of self-regulating systems, the unconference is a collective, collaborative, interdisciplinary, and multi-perspectival summit that aims to produce embodied knowledge about statistics in their larger contexts and ties to everyday life. With experimental formats, we encourage dynamic exchange between bodies and things, ideas and places, practices and theories.

Journal: Accuracy and Obsession / Akribie und Obsession
https://netzkunst.berlin/cc/j
10/05 - 01/07/2021
Cybernetic control is achieved through accuracy, meticulousness, and a constant striving for perfection. Social processes are broken down into manageable parts, measured, and evaluated in order to regulate them through targeted readjustment. The authors of the online journal examine concrete practices, technologies, and materials of cybernetic control. The essays will be published on the project website from May to July.
