In order to be independent from political, economic and other institutional influences, we want COMMUNE 6x3 to serve as a physical vessel for exchange and discussion amongst different artists, architects, activists and academics. Especially during this time, as artists, we feel the need for risk, exchange, start new initiatives and find alternative ways to operate.
Especially in these uncertain times and fast paced culture(s), we need new models of operating exhibitions, collaborations, dialogue, education and information that will bring different communities together.
Additionally, a crucial layer to this project is making contemporary culture accessible to the public.
Vitrine facades of the container allows everyone to engage with the space more visually. This approach is important especially when sharing and opening up what should be private, public. COMMUNE 6x3 has endless possibilities to house a diversity of expressions.
