In total, we received about 1300 applications for a working period at the academy. Out of these, some 960 candidates submitted proposals for the upcoming 11-month residency programme, starting in November 2022. The 2022/2023 residency year will also host writer-in-residence Dorien de Wit (Dutch Foundation for Literature) and our first–ever German writer Yannic Han Biao Federer (Kunststiftung NRW).
