unidisplay consists of a collection of graphic modules that present various optical patterns and shapes touching on different aspects of human perception.
The unidisplay installation is complemented at the auditory level by uni(psycho)acoustic – a sound chamber. In keeping with the visual structures of unidisplay, (psycho-)acoustic phenomena that explore the mode of operation of human perception are also presented. The work is being developed with students from the Städel School in the context of Carsten Nicolai’s guest professorship.
