In her talk, Olga Balema will go through images of several bodies of work from the last years.

Olga Balema is an artist born in Lviv, Ukraine and currently lives in New York City. Primarily she works in sculpture and installation. In 2011/12, she participated in the residency program of the Rijksakademie van beeldende kunsten in Amsterdam. Balema has had solo shows at the Swiss Institute in New York and the Kunstverein Nurnberg, among others. In addition, Balema’s works have been included in many international group exhibitions at institutions such as Kunsthalle Basel, n.b.k. in Berlin, Bergen Kunsthall and Moderna Museet in Stockholm. Her 13th solo show is coming up in April at the Camden Art Center in London.
