The lecture will trace a personal account of the last decade in the collaborative and cumulative of evolution of a particular research programme – a computational design and digital fabrication based Tectonism: its roots in academic programs such as the Design Research Laboratory (DRL), its current state, and its attempts to recuperate historic knowledge and build a dense network of cross-disciplinary affiliations, leaving it at the cusp of realising its disruptive potential.
