How does an art project start? What will it be? Why and how do we choose certain people to share thoughts with? And which part of a conversation between artists do we share with an audience?
These questions stand at the beginning of an upcoming exhibition by Leo Asemota and Nástio Mosquito this November at Portikus.
Starting from an ongoing conversation between the artists, the exhibition will find a way to host, address and discuss conversations, their cultural traditions, the private and the public. The public lecture is part of this process.
Leo Asemota was born in Benin City in Nigeria. He has places of residence in London, England and in his birthplace in Benin City, Nigeria.
Multimedia artist Nástio Mosquito is known for performances, videos, music and poetry that show an intense commitment to the open-ended potential of language.
Der Vortrag findet in englischer Sprache statt.
