New Mineral Collective is one of the world's leading geophysical service companies, delivering a wide range of therapies, counter prospecting services and geo-trauma healing worldwide. Their practice pierces the point of the deepest desires and core pleasures. It activates energy forces that are invisible to the naked eye. Discover with them the body's resources. Your body is a mine.
New Mineral Collective is a platform of enquiry that looks at contemporary landscape politics to better understand the nature and extent of human interaction with the Earth's surface. As an organism, New Mineral Collective infiltrates the extractive industry with alternative forces such as desire, body mining and acts of counter prospecting. Their work has been shown nationally and internationally including Tate Modern, London (2021), Serpentine Cinema at Serpentine Galleries, London (2021), Künstlerhaus Bethanien, Berlin (2021), Kunstnernes Hus, Oslo (2021), Swedish Center for Architecture and Design, Stockholm (2020), the Toronto Art Biennial (2019), SeMA Seoul Museum of Art, Seoul (2019), SIART Bolivia International Art Biennial, La Paz (2016), Artists Film International Season 7, Whitechapel Gallery, London (2015), amongst others. Since 2015, the artists Emilija Škarnulyta (born in Vilnius, Lithuania; lives in Tromsø, Norway) and Tanya Busse (born in Moncton, NB, Canada; lives in Tromsø, Norway) run New Mineral Collective.
