Rudi Ninov (* 1992) is a Bulgarian artist who graduated from Goldsmiths University of London in 2015 and is currently studying in Amy Sillman's class at the Städelschule. Rudi's paintings and sculptures expand his continuous analysis of the material and media specificity of early animation as a diagrammatic cinema, the painting surface as a place for projections and the body in animistic beliefs. His work will be part of an upcoming play at the Azarian Theater in the National Palace of Culture, Sofia, and the National Drama Theater in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. The edition consists of works created exclusively for the Städelschule, the proceeds of which will be donated exclusively to the student. The student edition appears parallel to the professor edition. Rudi Ninov was chosen by Amy Sillman because of his formal language, which he transferred to the medium of ceramics during the last tour.

If you are interested in one of the editions or if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Martina Cooper.
