Tue Greenfort (*1973 Holbaek/DK) studied at Funen Art Academy between 1997 and 2000 and at the Städelschule under Professor Thomas Bayrle from 2000 to 2003.

Kohlweißling (2008) shows a creature that can adapt just as perfectly to monocultures as to wild plants. Its caterpillars are considered pests and steps are taken to combat them. For the large cabbage white butterfly Tue Greenfort has chosen the classic presentation form for rare species of butterflies in natural history museums and contrasts its objective beauty with the damage we know it causes.
