Tobias Rehberger (*1966 in Esslingen/DE) lives and works in Frankfurt am Main and Berlin and is one of the most successful artists of his generation. He association with the Städelschule is through his own studies and as a professor. He works with methods and techniques from architecture, sculpture, painting, design, management and film. His works feature in major museums and collections around the world.

The special edition Come Kim I - XVIII by Prof Tobias Rehberger and his students, which consists of 18 original pieces of work on paper, is designed to promote student projects at the Städelschule itself and the development of an ongoing exchange with the Korean art school RATschool in Seoul. All 18 copies of this special edition are half the work of Tobias Rehberger and half the work of his students. Each original unique piece of work carries the professor’s handwriting and that of one of his students, and has been signed by both.
